Essential general requirements
You must be a UK or an EU citizen, or hold an appropriate work visa.
English proficiency: Good spoken English (C1+) to communicate with children, parents, and staff.
Experience working with children: This can include: Teaching, coaching sports, babysitting, youth groups, volunteering, scouting or guides.
Positive attitude and leadership skills: enthusiasm, teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving.
Successful Background Checks
Adequate References from previous employers.
First Aid skills. Valid First Aid Certificate (especially for senior staff).
Our roles
Camp Coordinator
You have already a few years experience working as Camp Counselor / Activities supervisor in international camps, and you are looking into the next opportunity to develop further your experience with this leader’s role.
Working with a team of 3–4 camp counselors and 2–3 tutors of English, you will coordinate each daily programme and plan and control the implementation of each activity included in the programme.
In addition, you have very good communication skills to coordinate with outside partners various aspects of the programme, such as accommodation, meals, transport and cultural activities.
You oversee the daily operation of the camp. Coordinates staff schedules, manages activity timetables, ensures health and safety procedures are followed, deals with parents, supports staff, handles incidents, and makes sure the camp runs smoothly. This is usually a senior position requiring previous camp, teaching, childcare, or leadership experience.
The Camp Coordinator shall be responsible for the overall professional coordination, supervision and successful delivery of the camp's activities programme, with particular responsibility for student safety, welfare, staff coordination and programme quality.
Key responsibilities
- Activities Team Coordination — supervise, support and coordinate the Activities Team; organise schedules and responsibilities; provide leadership, guidance and support; contribute to team induction and development.
- Programme Planning & Delivery — coordinate the daily activities programme, including sports, leisure, cultural, social and evening activities, excursions and off-site activities.
- Student Welfare & Supervision — ensure appropriate student supervision, attendance and welfare; support arrivals, departures, transfers and excursions; promote positive behaviour, participation, teamwork and cultural exchange.
- Communication — act as the main operational communication point between the Activities Team and Camp Management; communicate updates, concerns and incidents; liaise with parents when appropriate and escalate issues requiring management intervention.
- Safety & Safeguarding — ensure activities follow safety and safeguarding procedures; report accidents, incidents, behavioural and safeguarding concerns; maintain awareness of student whereabouts and support emergency procedures.
- Equipment & Facilities — ensure activity equipment and areas are used safely; report damaged, missing or unsafe equipment and maintenance concerns.
- Professional Conduct — lead by example, maintain professional standards and boundaries, treat students and colleagues with respect, protect confidential information and comply with applicable laws and camp procedures.

Camp Counselor
You already have experience working with children – teenagers, preferably in the setting of a summer camp.
You act as the children's main supervisor and mentor throughout the day. Helps them participate in activities, ensures their safety and wellbeing, resolves minor conflicts, and creates a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

English Teacher

FAQ
What if I get injured during providing my services at the programme?
You will have medical care based on the coverage of your medical insurance policy. And if you will not be able to offer your services, then unfortunately you will need to interrupt the services agreement.
What should I bring for the needs of the services and programme?

What about laundry services during the period of my work at the camp?
We provide laundry and it can be once every week.
How does a typical day look like?
Please have a look at a typical 7-day programme. Depending on the role you will have, Camp Counsellor or Teacher or Camp coordinator, you will be busy from 5 to 14 hours each day, with various degrees of intensity, depending on the hour of the day.
Can I carry my phone while working in the camp?
Yes, you may have your mobile with you while with children, however staff stick to the same policy of usage of phones as the kids, only during rest time, unless an emergency has occurred.
Is there a curfew time?
Yes, 23.00. After the children have withdrawn to their rooms, then the staff are encouraged to remain in the common areas of our residence till 24.00. After this hour then can go for rest in their rooms.
What if I have a tattoo and / or piercing?
As staff are the life models for our students, we would prefer not to have such aspects. However, if they are not exposed and can be covered, then it will be no issue.
Could staff drink alcohol during the programme- time off?
Our policy is that staff are not permitted to have any alcohol during the stay within our programmes. Violation of this policy will lead to immediate dismissal.
Can I use tobacco during my stay in the programme?
No matter what form; whether you dip, chew, smoke, or vape — if you use tobacco, it must be used only on your time off the programme- once a week and outside the residence of the programme. Using tobacco on camp residence will result in severe action, and possible dismissal. We PREFER that you not use tobacco at all, at least during the summer. You are a counselor hero. Making a commitment to stay completely away from tobacco during the summer sends a very powerful message to our campers.
